History
In 1945 building contractor John Mattson formed his company which today is JM AB. The strategy has shifted from construction and property firm to housing developer.

JM is the first Nordic construction company to certify all of the residential units that are planned as of January 1, 2018 according to the Swan Ecolabel requirements. The efforts we have made over a period of years to reduce environmental impact will be more visible for housing customers. |
2015 |
JM celebrates its 70th anniversary. JM builds about 3,700 residential units, sales are SEK 14 billion and JM has 2,300 employees. |

Acquisition of Öie AS, a construction and project development company in Oslo, Norway. |
2008 |
JM introduce low-energy houses as standard in all housing production in Sweden. |

Production and sales start in Finland. |

JM establish operations in Finland with a focus on the capital city region - Greater Helsinki. |
2005 |
JM celebrates its 60th anniversary. JM builds about 4,000 residential units every year, sales are SEK 8 billion and JM has 2,200 employees. |

Continued sales of fully developed properties. Major acquisition of residential properties for development. |

Skanska divests its shareholding in JM. |

Continuous sale of developed properties and growth in the role as project developer. Establishment in Denmark. New organization and new financial objectives. |

Major structural deal gives an increased equity/assets ratio and flexibility. Establishment in Norway in 1998. |

Through share sales by major owners, an additional spread of ownership and increased trading is achieved. |

Through sales and acquisitions by non-cash issues, JM's financial position is strengthened significantly. |

Skanska acquires Industrivärden's shareholding and becomes majority owner in JM. |

JM listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. |
1965 |
John Mattson divests the company to AB Industrivärden. In the 1960s downtown Stockholm is undergoing major changes and JM is a part of it, building Hötorgscity. The Wennergren Center construction project is completed. |
